The story of wild harvesting

Right now, Allanblackia seeds are harvested in the wild for the production of Allanblackia oil by villagers in some West, Central and East Africa communities. The benefits spread through the community, but because wild harvesting cannot meet demand for the oil, the local benefits cannot meet their full potential.

The oil

Allanblackia seed oil has ideal melting properties perfect for making margarines. With the help of Allanblackia oil, margarines can be made with lower levels of saturated fats, while still being solid at room temperature. This combination of characteristics makes Allanblackia products ideally suited for spreads and baking.
